CPR/CMAP Joint Panel
On October 9, 2012 CPR and CMAP (Centre de Médiation et d’Arbitrage de Paris) signed a cooperation agreement in an effort to expand their respective panels.  This joint panel comprises distinguished neutrals with a working knowledge of both the French and English languages and experience in complex commercial cross-border arbitrations and/or mediations.

CPR Distinguished Neutrals approved by CMAP will be considered by CMAP for appointments in cross-border arbitration and mediation cases conducted pursuant to CMAP rules.  Similarly, CMAP-accredited neutrals approved by CPR will be listed on CPR’s Global or Cross-Border Panels of Distinguished Neutrals.

CMAP is a not-for-profit arbitration and mediation center which was created in 1995 by the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry.  It is the leading commercial conflict resolution center in France and one of the most important in Europe.  Find more information on CMAP here.

CPR’s constituents are becoming increasingly global in their operations. In response, the organization has dedicated significant resources to extending its reach across industries and geographic areas.  With the assistance, support and guidance of its global members, CPR has engaged in a multi-branched initiative to promote commercial mediation and other methods of consensual conflict management in regions outside of the United States. >learn about CPR's Emerging Markets Mediation Growth Initiative
To guide these efforts, CPR has constituted an International Committee of the Board, Chaired by Barbara Daniele of GE Commercial Finance and comprising many of CPR’s corporations and law firms that have significant international work.
