The Committee on Energy, Oil & Gas was formed in 2000 to study challenges to these related industries. It has assembled a blue-ribbon international panel of energy neutrals in sub-specialties ranging from alternative energy sources to nuclear specialties. The Committee worked with CPR’s Construction Committee and the CIARB on a joint program held in Washington, DC in October 2011 on the use of DRBs in energy plant construction projects. The Energy Committee has also continued to review the applications of several candidates for CPR’s Panels of Neutrals.
The Chair of this Committee is Duncan MacKay of Northeast Utilities.
CPR regularly convenes this committee of in-house counsel, attorneys, and leading ADR practitioners to analyze, establish benchmarks and publish material on issues that are critically important to business practices.
