CPR was organizer for this customized training program for a special contingent from the Iraqi Ministry of Oil. The training took place in New York City and covered ADR topics and methodology, including "Consultation in the US" and "Alternative Resolution of Contractual Disputes". This program was funded by the U.S. Department of State and hosted by Columbia University's Law School.

Kathy Bryan delivered the keynote speech before the American Bar Association Section of Dispute Resolution Annual Conference in San Francisco. Bryan’s speech for the “Civil Collaborative Law Symposium: Bringing Healing to Law and Medicine in Adverse Medical Events” included collaborative law techniques in commercial cases and her comments were based in part on points in “Why Should Businesses Hire Settlement Counsel,” an article she authored in 2008 (No. 1) Journal of Dispute Resolution 195 (University of Missouri School of Law).
