The CPR Patent Mediation Task Force was convened in response to current patent settlement rates, which demonstrate that mediation continues to be underutilized in patent disputes. The Task Force’s main objective was to analyze methods and solutions for improving the use and efficiency of mediation as an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) in patent disputes.
