With the healthcare and life sciences industries poised for reform, CPR quickly responded by forming this Committee in late 2008. It comprises leading practitioners, corporate counsel and academics with experience in the resolution of disputes among healthcare and life sciences corporations, institutions and parties involving issues specifically related to these entities and the complex regulatory framework in which they operate. The Committee will study current challenges and trends in the industry and draft best practices and ADR tools to address, manage and resolve disputes. Recently, the Committee created an industry-specific panel of neutrals expert in healthcare and life science-related disputes.
The Chair of this Committee is Katherine Benesch of Benesch and Associates, LLC.
CPR regularly convenes this committee of in-house counsel, attorneys, and leading ADR practitioners to analyze, establish benchmarks and publish material on issues that are critically important to business practices.
