Developments in International Arbitration from the In-House Perspective

International arbitration remains an instrument of choice for resolving cross-border commercial disputes, offering advantages in terms of neutral decision-making, procedural flexibility, finality and enforceability of awards. Yet it has come under attack in recent years for some of its perceived shortcomings, particularly relating to costs and delays.  This panel brings together leading in-house counsel in Europe to offer their perspective on how arbitration can be used most effectively to achieve the best results, from the drafting of arbitration clauses to the selection of arbitrators and counsel.
