Taj Clayton is a litigation partner in the Dallas office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Taj practices in both federal and state court, focusing on complex business, mass tort, and intellectual property litigation. He has successfully represented clients such as healthcare and financial institutions, automotive manufacturers, consumer products brands and entertainment companies.
He represents corporate clients in a wide range of complex litigation practice areas, from products liability and antitrust to patent and other types of intellectual property matters. Super Lawyers honored him as a “Texas Rising Star” and the Dallas Business Journal named him to its “40 Under 40.”
Taj was previously chair of Winston & Strawn’s Domestic ADR group, and before that served as principal in the Dallas office of another international firm and as law clerk to Chief Judge Mark L. Wolf of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Prior to practicing law, Taj began his career in sports in the Management Council of the National Football League. Later, he worked as a consultant at ICG Commerce, an e-procurement consulting firm.
