Marketing & Communications Manager



Position Overview:

Key position for an established legal non-profit focused on dispute prevention and resolution in the international business community. Responsible for creating, implementing and overseeing a broad range of marketing and communications programs, that effectively describe and promote the organization and its products. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Working at both the strategic and tactical level, develops, coordinates and implements the branding, design, marketing and communication of membership initiatives, programs, events, and publications
  • Works with Vice President of Global Development for Dispute Resolution Services to develop and implement marketing plan for dispute resolution services
  • Collaborates with clients to publish compelling, high quality materials for external audiences ensuring all communications have a consistent tone and the CPR message is appropriately delivered to reach intended audiences
  • Oversees website, ensuring correct and current content, including articles, press releases, events and other important information
  • Manages social media presence on Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook; builds and fosters long-term relationships with relevant traditional media
  • Writes, produces and distributes weekly newsletter
  • Other specific deliverables may include, but are not limited to, PowerPoint presentations, toolkits, and promotional emails, as well as participation in various special projects

Skills and Requirements:

  • Creative, entrepreneurial, detail-oriented contributor with critical thinking skills and continuous improvement mindset
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills; prior experience with social and traditional media
  • Tech savvy, professional and independent problem solver 
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize to successfully work with multiple internal clients; good judgment and decision-making skills
  • 4 - 5 years of experience in marketing and communications; prior legal/alternative dispute resolution experience a plus, but not required
  • Familiarity using Google Analytics and its reporting functions, and HootSuite
  • Bachelor’s degree required
