Presented by CPR's Government and ADR Task Force

Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at 12:00pm

Please join the CPR Government & ADR Task Force for our next meeting to discuss perspectives on ADR claims involving the United States.

This hour-long lunchtime panel will take place on Zoom and will feature Reed Stephens, Partner at Winston & Strawn LLP, in conversation with Sara McLean, Assistant Director of Civil Frauds, Commercial Litigation Branch, Civil Division of the Department of Justice.

This program will offer critically important insights into how the Department of Justice operates around disputes, including how and when the DOJ enters the dispute continuum on behalf of its client federal agencies, comparisons of the efficiency of informal dispute resolution versus formal ADR processes, the history of ADR initiatives within the DOJ, perspectives on how the DOJ can incentivize cooperation in the dispute resolution process, and otherwise conserve agency resources and advance DOJ policy priorities through ADR.
