Spanning a diverse array of industries and practiced across varied legal systems, international commercial arbitration has wide-reaching implications as it helps to create the foundation in which international transactions can thrive. The Symposium on Salient Issues in International Commercial Arbitration is organized biennially by the Center on International Commercial Arbitration with the purpose of presenting a global perspective of current developments in international arbitration throughout the world. The symposium hosts prominent speakers and generates a dialogue for salient issues in BIT and ICSID arbitration, as well as current developments in international commercial arbitration in the Americas, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and East Asia.
