Please join the ABA Section of Dispute Resolution for a Town Hall on Conflict Prevention--The planning, monitoring and/or intervention necessary to stabilize a business relationship when tensions emerge and before the tensions gel into hardened positions or escalate into a formal legal conflict or claim.
We know that the mediator’s tool kit is powerful and that with our skills we can do more than settle lawsuits. We can intervene at the stage of mere disagreements, friction, or simple misunderstandings by initiating a pre-planned or contemporaneous process to address and resolve the tension constructively and preserve business relationships. With the inundation of lawsuits resulting from the pandemic, this is an opportune time for the implementation of prevention.
