February 8, 2010
Located in Boston, MA, the Boston Law Collaborative provides legal representation and dispute resolution services, as well as training and consulting, focusing in family, business, and employment cases.
“Many times, it is the work of our colleagues and peers that inspires our own activities and motivates us to spearhead innovation and promote excellence. Therefore, the CPR Institute is proud to honor Boston Law Collaborative for its commitment to ADR practice and education and for its focus on collaborative dispute resolution,” said Kathleen A. Bryan, President and CEO of the CPR Institute.
The award review committee comprised corporate counsel from General Electric, DuPont, Abbott Labs, Northrop Grumman, and Johnson & Johnson, as well as faculty from the University of Missouri School of Law, Columbia Law School and Pepperdine University’s School of Law.
Focusing on criteria including processes, techniques, systems, commitment and scholarship which address the resolution, prevention or creative management of major disputes, the committee acknowledged Boston Law Collaborative for:
• demonstrating firm-wide commitment to conflict resolution;
• educating legal professionals and clients about ADR and the collaborative law process; and
• employing a unique multi-disciplinary approach to its legal representation and its dispute
Previous honorees include the U.K.-based law firm of Herbert Smith (2008) and Philadelphia-based Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young, LLP (2007).
