Letter from CPR President & CEO, Allen Waxman

Less Conflict. More Purpose.

To the CPR Community:

Last June, I wrote to you in the aftermath of the tragic deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery, observing how those events and our reaction to them reflected how disconnected we are.  We came together for an Open Dialogue and shared ideas, profound and productive, on the hard work we need to do to earn our connection.

The horrific events of Wednesday at the U.S. Capitol continue to underscore our lack of connection and the work we still must do.  At CPR, we condemn such acts of violence against our fundamental institutions and political leaders.  That will never bring about connection.  We believe that finding constructive resolution to our differences will breed better connection and lead to a more just society.  This must be our purpose.

Each of us can and must do our part to better work together toward more constructive resolution of our differences.  Thank you all for the work you continue to do with us to drive dispute prevention and resolution, and to better manage conflict to enable our purpose.

With warmest regards,

Allen Waxman
