CPR Institute and Jossey-Bass join forces on Alternatives
August 1, 2004The CPR Institute for Dispute Resolution and Jossey-Bass, a Wiley Imprint, which focuses on dispute resolution and is a large publisher of leading-edge resources, announced that Jossey-Bass is now publishing Alternatives, a monthly dispute resolution newsletter. Alternatives had been self-published by CPR since January 1983.
“This agreement will deepen as well as expand the impact that Alternatives can make on the legal community,” said Thomas J. Stipanowich, CPR’s President
and Chief Executive Officer, and an Alternatives’ publisher.
CPR members receive the publication free. Staff at CPR members also have advance access to each issue of Alternatives via the Internet, from CPR’s website, www.cpradr.org, and John Wiley & Sons global online platform, www.WileyInterscience.com.
In addition to marketing the newsletter through direct mail and electronic channels, Alternatives has been added to Wiley InterScience, so that for the first
time, libraries and institutions worldwide can subscribe to Alternatives online.
Wiley InterScience also increases the timeliness of the publication, allowing users to access content as soon as it is published.
Organizations that do not belong to CPR, and individuals, may purchase hard copy or online subscriptions from Jossey-Bass at 1-888-378-2537, or at www.josseybass.com.
