Lorraine M. Brennan Appointed Senior Vice President of CPR Institute

In this role, Ms. Brennan will be responsible for advancing CPR’s innovative programs and initiatives in the United States and abroad. She will be leading CPR’s international expansion
and be responsible for running events, meetings, training, and key committees for the organization.

Ms. Brennan is a former partner in the New York office of Kilpatrick Stockton, LLP, specializing in international arbitration and dispute resolution, and was the Director of the firm’s International Arbitration Group. Prior to her tenure at Kilpatrick, Ms. Brennan served as Director of Arbitration and ADR, North America, ICC International Court of Arbitration, where she acted as the American advisor to the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Paris, France.

A recognized speaker and author on the topic of international arbitration and dispute resolution, she is one of eight U.S. members of the NAFTA 2022 Advisory Committee on Private
Commercial Disputes. Ms. Brennan is a Member of the Executive Board of the American Branch of the International Law Association, a member of the American Society of International
Law, a member of both the International Commercial Disputes Committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee, a member of the Advisory Board of the Institute for Transnational Arbitration, the International Bar Association, and a fellow of the American Bar Foundation and the Center for International Legal Studies. Ms. Brennan serves as an adjunct Professor of Law at Cornell Law School and Georgetown Law Schools, teaching International Business Transactions and International Commercial Arbitration, respectively. She is a Visiting Professor at Shantou University in Shantou, China, where she teaches an intensive course in International Business Transactions and Dispute Resolution.

She received a B.A. degree from Cornell University, a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School, a Masters of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy, and a Diplome d’Etudes Superieure from the Institute Universitaire des Hautes Etudes Internationales in Geneva, Switzerland.
