Wendi Chason appointed Vice President and Director of Marketing of CPR Institute

New York, NY, April 23, 2012 – It was announced today that Wendi Chason has been named Vice President and Director of Marketing of the International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution (CPR Institute), a nonprofit think-tank and alliance of global corporations, law firms, scholars, and public institutions dedicated to the principles of conflict prevention and alternative dispute resolution (ADR).

Bryan, President and CEO of the CPR Institute. “With her expertise in directing marketing communications from concept to execution, she will contribute greatly to our mission of promoting quality and innovation in commercial conflict avoidance, management and resolution worldwide.”
In this role, Ms. Chason will be responsible for overseeing all marketing and communications initiatives, from public and media relations activities to strategic partnerships and web-based programs.

Prior to joining the CPR Institute, Ms. Chason was the Regional Director for the Lupus Foundation, where she was responsible for the development and growth of the New York City office and its activities including corporate sponsorship, marketing, and media relations. Previous to that position, she held numerous leadership positions in non-profits, where she was responsible for development, corporate sponsorships, marketing, public affairs, and media relations. Ms. Chason also spearheaded efforts for pre-launch and product launches at Pfizer, Inc., which encompassed advertising, strategic alliances, communications programs, marketing collateral, speaker bureaus, and written press releases.
Ms. Chason earned a Master of Public Administration in Healthcare Management, from the State University of New York, Albany; highest honors, and she earned a Bachelor of Arts, in Psychology from the State University of New York, Stony Brook; Highest Honors, Phi Beta Kappa, Pi Alpha Sigma.
