Diversity in ADR Task Force
The mission of the Diversity in ADR Task Force is to devise practical strategies to increase the participation and inclusion of women, persons of color, members of the LGBTQ community, persons living with disabilities, and other under-represented groups in mediation, arbitration and other dispute prevention and resolution processes around the world.
In particular we are committed to focusing on the selection of diverse neutrals by encouraging corporations and law firms to recognize the need for and the benefits of selecting diverse neutrals. The Task Force also coordinates with affinity bar associations on diversity initiatives, and in encouraging more diverse lawyers to consider developing a practice as a neutral. The Task Force has developed a Diversity Commitment, a model diversity, equity & inclusion clause and, in collaboration with LCLD and FINRA, created a two-year mentoring and apprentice program designed to further the selection of diverse neutrals by the business community.
NEW: 2022 Diversity Commitment
Join fellow corporations and law firms (and CPR itself) who are committed to actively supporting the inclusion of diverse mediators and arbitrators.
