Y-ADR Steering Committee Applications

Y-ADR Steering Committee Applications

Starting in May 2022, the CPR Institute will seek candidates for several positions on the Y-ADR Steering Committee for the 2022 – 2025 cycle. Applications will close on July 15. Accepted members will be notified in August, and will have a term ending on July 31, 2025.

The Steering Committee members are selected through a competitive vetting process. If you are interested in being considered:

  • You must be an attorney or other professional 45 years old or younger or with less than 8 years of professional experience in international or domestic ADR practice or other areas of conflict prevention and resolution. While students are eligible to be members of Y-ADR, they are not yet eligible to serve on the Steering Committee.

  • Prepare a short statement of interest (approximately 200-500 words) that describes your background, interest in dispute prevention and resolution, and your ideas as to how to further Y-ADR’s mission. This should include either: a topic for a panel presentation that would be of interest to Y-ADR members, including potential speakers; or a way Y-ADR can help increase diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in the dispute prevention and resolution field. Please also indicate if your organization is a Member of CPR. If you are selected, you will be paired up with one or more members of the Steering Committee to take the lead on organizing the program or DEI initiative.

  • Please send applications to Knar Nahikian by July 15, 2022.
