Denton Nichols, FCIArb

Denton Nichols is a Partner and the Deputy Team Leader of Arbitration at Norton Rose Fulbright in Houston. His practice focuses on international and domestic commercial arbitration and investor-state arbitration, with particular experience representing energy, petrochemical, manufacturing, and mining clients. A member of the CPR Institute Board of Directors since 2026, Mr. Nichols has a history of active involvement in the CPR Institute’s thought leadership and initiatives, with service on the Houston Advisory Board, the Y-ADR Steering Committee, and ad hoc tasks forces. He holds a Juris Doctor with honors and a Master of Arts in Latin American Studies from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor of Arts with highest honors from Rice University.
