Digital Marketing Manager


Position Overview

 The International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution (CPR) is an independent nonprofit organization that promotes the prevention and resolution of business-related conflict. CPR is a small organization with a dynamic and collegial staff of 15 that values quality, accountability and collaboration. This position will play a key role in growing the organization via effectively and efficiently placing and promoting its key messages, and in implementing its B2B marketing and communications strategies. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative thinker who is organized, detail-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Produce compelling graphics utilizing the brand assets for implementation in social media, email marketing, website content, digital ads and other platforms.

Plan, schedule and produce posts to the organization’s LinkedIn and Twitter accounts.

Update and maintain the organization’s websites.

Produce emails in Constant Contact, including bi-weekly email newsletter.

Analyze results, sort data, and produce reports using Excel and the organization's software systems.

Assist in planning and implementing special events, conferences and fundraising initiatives.

Create engaging PowerPoint presentations for senior management and staff.

Format documents into visually appealing PDF’s.

Tenaciously guard and enforce brand guidelines and standards.

Skills and Requirements

Graphic design skills and experience, particularly as applies to digital environments.

Experience and proven expertise in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat), and PowerPoint.

Strong writing ability for crafting engaging social media posts, email content and website content.

Experience with one or more email marketing systems; MailChimp or Constant Contact is preferred.

Experience in and exceptional knowledge of LinkedIn and Twitter.

Mastery of Excel and Word.

Ability to quickly learn and master the organization’s websites and association management systems.

Must be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities as well as resourceful, proactive and collaborative.

Desired Skills

Experience using Google Analytics to analyze website results and find opportunities for improvement.

Knowledge of search engine optimization strategies.


A Bachelor’s degree and five to eight years of directly-related marketing experience.

Must reside in U.S. and be eligible to work in U.S.

This is a full-time permanent position with health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, summer Fridays and other benefits.CPR’s work hours are 9:30 am – 5:30 pm Eastern, Monday through Friday. Evening and/or weekend work is rare but may occur during 2-3 peak time periods each year.This position can be fully remote for candidates residing outside the New York City metropolitan area, or hybrid (1-3 days in the office, as per candidate’s preference) for candidates residing in the New York City metropolitan area.

Located just off Park Avenue in lower Midtown Manhattan, CPR is within walking distance of both Grand Central Terminal and Penn Station. It is also very close to a subway station that is one stop from Grand Central.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $50,000 and $65,000 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including discretionary bonuses in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and CPR reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, CPR or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
