Ishaan Madaan is a dual-qualified attorney (India and New York) with a practice focused on international arbitration and enforcement matters. He has represented parties in international arbitrations, including emergency arbitrations, governed by leading institutional rules in disputes spanning a broad range of industries including life sciences, M&A, cryptocurrency, and franchising. His practice includes asset tracing, and the enforcement of foreign and domestic judgments and awards in the US.
During his practice in India, Ishaan has advised clients on commercial arbitration, corporate litigation, insolvency, and restructuring matters, and acted as a court-appointed arbitrator. He actively focuses on serving clients on the US-India corridor. He is an active contributor to thought leadership initiatives on the crossroads of insolvency and arbitration, and serves as a consultant/liaison to the Center for International Legal Studies (Austria).
