CPR Institute and the CPR Brazilian Advisory Board are proud to present this workshop for the legal community in São Paulo as part of São Paulo Arbitration Week.

From Tariffs to Tribunals: The Legal Impacts of U.S.–Brazil Trade Disputes on Contracts and Conflict Resolution

As trade tensions increase between the United States and Brazil, businesses and legal professionals are increasingly challenged to navigate the complex landscape of tariffs, protectionist policies, and regulatory shifts.

Bringing together experienced in-house counsel, arbitrators, and legal experts in international trade law, this panel will explore the real-world impacts of these trade disputes on cross-border commerce, with a focus on legal risk management and dispute resolution. In this interactive program, speakers will discuss how businesses are proactively addressing these challenges through carefully drafted dispute prevention clauses, robust arbitration and mediation frameworks, and strategic contract negotiation.

Attendees will have the opportunity to pose questions and share perspectives regarding evolving legal practices that aim to minimize risk, resolve conflicts efficiently, and adapt to the dynamic nature of global trade relations.
