The constitution of the arbitral tribunal is among the most critical and influential decisions parties will make in an international arbitration. Despite its significance, this process often remains opaque—shaped by strategic considerations, institutional practices, unwritten norms, and professional experience that is rarely articulated openly. A clear understanding of these dynamics can meaningfully affect case strategy, party confidence, and, ultimately, the trajectory of the dispute.

In this jointly hosted CPR-Linklaters program, a distinguished panel of experienced in-house counsel, leading external counsel, and seasoned arbitrators will engage in a dynamic and substantive discussion* that goes beyond abstract principles to illuminate the realities of tribunal formation.

The course level is non-transitional, which is appropriate for experienced attorneys and offers 1.0 NY CLE credit in Professional Practice.
