Committees, Industry Alliances and Task Forces
CPR Institute empowers its members to engage in knowledge sharing and generate thought leadership through its various committees, industry alliances and task forces.
Ten member-exclusive committees, made up of CPR Institute’s multi-stakeholder membership base consisting of in-house counsel, outside counsel, neutrals, and academics, provide members the opportunity to:
-
Analyze the latest trends and developments in early dispute prevention and resolution.
-
Discuss best practices and develop timely programs and projects relevant to their practice areas and industry sectors.
-
Influence and improve the ADR and dispute prevention processes via project-specific subcommittees and task forces. End products include protocols, guidelines, model clauses, templates, and more!

How often do CPR Institute committees meet?

What’s the time commitment?
You get out what you put in! Joining a committee or industry alliance does not obligate your time, it simply adds you to the list to ensure you are always kept in the loop. We encourage members to attend as many meetings as possible and participate in the conversation. Those interested in getting involved at a deeper level are encouraged to submit program ideas, volunteer to speak, apply for a leadership role, or join a subcommittee/task force.
Do I have to be a committee member to attend a meeting?
No. As a benefit of your membership with the CPR Institute, you are welcome to attend any committee meeting that might be of interest, regardless of whether you are officially on that committee.
Is there a limit to the number of committees I can join?
When it comes to CPR Institute committees, the sky’s the limit! Feel free to join as many as you would like.
I am part of a corporation or law firm with an organizational membership. Is there a limit to the number of people from my organization who are allowed to join CPR committees?
Nope! As long as your organization is a member, anyone who would like to participate is welcome to join as many CPR Institute committees as they would like. The more the merrier!
