Event Details

CPR Dispute Resolution Services is proud to present: "The User Imperative and the In-House Perspective: Recalibrating Arbitration Across the Americas" at 12 p.m. on Monday, November 16, 2026, as part of New York Arbitration Week, in collaboration with Bermudes Advogados.

This in-person program will take place at Mayer Brown's office located at 1221 6th Ave, New York, NY 10020. As part of NYAW, this event is open to the public and free to attend.

About the program:

International arbitration remains central to cross-border commerce, but its effectiveness increasingly depends on how well it serves the companies and in-house legal teams that use it. This program will examine that question from two complementary perspectives: first, a New York-focused discussion on how in-house counsel and external counsel collaborate to shape strategy, manage costs, and control risk in complex arbitration; and second, a Latin America and international perspective highlighting how corporate legal teams across jurisdictions approach arbitral process, advocacy, settlement, enforcement, and business objectives. By bringing together New York-based and Latin American speakers, the program will showcase practical user perspectives on the evolving role of in-house counsel and identify concrete ways arbitration can remain efficient, predictable, and commercially responsive across borders.

Featured Speakers: To be determined, stay tuned for updates!
