Annual Awards
The James F. Henry Award honors outstanding achievement by individuals for distinguished, sustained contributions to the field of ADR. Candidates for the James F. Henry Award are evaluated for leadership, innovation and sustaining commitment to the field. It was awarded to Hon. Daniel Weinstein (Ret.).
The Outstanding Book Award goes to a book published by academics and other professionals that advances understanding in the field of ADR. It was awarded to Discussions in Dispute Resolution: The Coming of Age (2000–2009), eds. Art Hinshaw, Andrea Kupfer Schneider and Sarah Cole (Oxford University Press 2025)
Outstanding Professional Article Award is for a professional article published by academics and other professionals that advances understanding in the field of ADR. It was awarded to
Harold Abramson, for his article titled, “Time-Pressured Negotiations,” 30 Harvard Negotiation
