ConocoPhillips’ Dominic Macklon To Deliver Keynote at CPR Annual Meeting

New York, NY - The International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution (CPR), a global non-profit organization that helps others manage conflict so that they might better pursue their purpose, is pleased to announce that Dominic Macklon, Executive Vice President, Strategy, Sustainability & Technology at ConocoPhillips, will be the keynote speaker at the 2023 CPR Annual Meeting to be held on March 1 – 3, 2023 in New Orleans.

The theme of the 2023 CPR Annual Meeting is “Practical and Innovative Dispute Management Solutions.” The two-and-a-half-day conference will feature experts in alternative dispute resolution (ADR) from a variety of industries and perspectives - corporate counsel, law firm practitioners, neutrals, academics and business leaders – that share an interest in preventing disputes or resolving them more efficiently to avoid or minimize the cost, distraction and ruined relationships disputes can cause.

This year’s Annual Meeting Steering Committee Co-Chairs are Laura Robertson, Deputy General Counsel, ConocoPhillips; and Mimi Lee, Managing Counsel, Chevron.

In Macklon’s role, he oversees the teams responsible for corporate planning and development, global technical functions, information technology, sustainable development and low carbon technology. He has more than 30 years of oil and natural gas experience.

The theme of his keynote address will be “Advancing an Orderly Energy Transition: Challenges and Opportunities.”
