CPR Institute Welcomes 13 New Y-ADR Steering Committee Members for the 2026-2029 Term

New York, NY – The International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution (CPR Institute), a global nonprofit organization that promotes the prevention and resolution of conflict through the CPR Institute and its subsidiary, CPR Dispute Resolution Services LLC, welcomed 13 new members to its Young Leaders in Alternative Dispute Resolution (Y-ADR) Steering Committee for the new 2026-2029 term. The new class consists of leading in-house and law firm counsel hailing from key regions in the United States as well as international jurisdictions including UK, Argentina, Mexico, Canada, and Spain.

The Y-ADR Steering Committee is led for a second year by co-chairs Erin Klewin of Danone North America and Adam Weiss of Linklaters, and will be supported this year by co-secretaries Pratik Singhvi and Sofía Vicente Mazzuz, both of Linklaters, to oversee this international body of 50 young professionals.

This new group of Y-ADR Steering Committee members went through a careful selection process and represents some of the most talented emerging professionals in ADR. Serving three-year terms, they will join two other cohorts as part of a 50-member committee that has hailed from countries worldwide, including Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, and South America. The selection process started in June.

The Y-ADR Steering Committee is the leadership group that oversees the Y-ADR Program, a successful initiative by the CPR Institute to develop new talent in Alternative Dispute Resolution, attracting both members and non-members. The program aims to educate the next generation of leaders from corporations, law firms, academia, and other organizations about the full spectrum of dispute resolution and prevention methods through the CPR Institute’s educational programs, training, and networking opportunities with more senior members worldwide.

In addition to contributing to CPR’s flagship programs such as the Annual Meeting, the International Mediation Competition, and the Corporate Leadership Award event, members of the Y-ADR Steering Committee also develop training series in collaboration with CPR Dispute Resolution Services, partner with CPR Institute’s committees and industry alliances to offer substantive programming, serve as liaisons to CPR’s international advisory boards in Europe, Canada, and Brazil, and have also launched CPR initiatives to promote ADR use in Africa, through the ground-breaking Africa Arbitration Day-New York conference and arbitration moot, now in its fourth year. They also continue their commitment to the next generation of practitioners by providing mentoring programs and a quarterly Y-ADR newsletter with resources and programs designed to enrich practical skills.

• Y-ADR’s “The Modern Lawyer” - a multi-part series covering practical skills that today's lawyer should have
• Ongoing “Speed Mentoring” events held in major cities including London, New York City, and Washington, DC, featuring panels of mentors from in-house, law firm, and international arbitration backgrounds
• A Networking with In-House Counsel event at Paris Arbitration Week
• An investment disputes program for London International Disputes Week, which discussed innovations proposed for resolving disputes of the future.
• A three-part ADR Skills Training Series, covering Energy Disputes, Insurance Disputes, and Employment Disputes with CPR Dispute Resolution Services.
• And many other initiatives, including Y-ADR’s Spotlight Series, Y-ADR’s Corporate Counsel Interview Series featuring career advice from world-renowned in-house counsel, and the quarterly Y-ADR Newsletter.
